My role as design director on the print department is to bring to life a range of imagery that will represent the show on outdoors, digital, social, and platform. The process entails establishing composition, photography, lighting, concept, color palette, typography, set design, wardrobe, lay out… and any other element that will affect the final product. Different vendors will be engaged to develop all the different parts and pieces, and the project and final product is orchestrated internally by our team.

FX always has very strong presence at Comic Con San Diego, the affinity with the audience makes for the perfect set up to promote some of our key shows. This year we built an iconic structure that crowned the center of the activations and the key feature was a projection mapping light show that debut at night hours.

Events are the perfect example of integrated design, where the brand has to come through through stunning visuals that take over physical spaces, wether it is at a Premiere party, a “for your consideration event, panels, or conferences such as Promax or Upfronts.
Branding
Developing a strong Brand Identity that translates to every medium using visual systems such as typography, color palette, animation, sound, transitions, for a number of different executions such as digital, social media, congratulatory posts, invites, web presence, online advertising…
Web Design
Strong visual design that is able to infuse a site with the right tone and visual identity while being organized and informative
Social Media
Every tactic / every post that promotes the shows on the social and digital channels needs to bring home the right visual direction, and feel cohesive so the user knows where it’s coming from and can engage with the show. Below are a few examples for 2 of our main shows, American Horror Story and Legion. We have social channels for every single show on the portfolio and they all have to carry the look and feel of that season using the same visual language and being compelling as well as varied.
